HOW TO MAKE BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP

It started back in high school when my mom made Buffalo Chicken dip in her crockpot. I had never had it before, and I'm a picky eater. But, she made me try it (thank God). Yes, it changed my life. For the next few years, that became my favorite meal. My mom always cooked it just for me because she knew how much I loved it. At some point, I started making it too for birthday parties my senior year. Then, as I went to college, I made it for other parties or movie nights or Bachelor watch-parties, game days, anything. If you know me, you KNOW that this is my recipe. I've kind of become queen of Buffalo Chicken Dip? I'm not a fantastic cook, and I don't really enjoy it. But, this is so easy to make that it always is my contribution to any gathering I go to. Over the years, a lot of my friends have asked me how to make it. I know other people make their buffalo chicken dip in the oven and have a lot of steps and ingredients. However, this is the easiest, best way to make buffalo chicken dip. I'm telling the world my "secret."


The ingredients are simple.

2 cans of canned chicken breast

2 things of cream cheese (the 1/3 reduced fat kind.. to be healthier)

half a bottle of ranch (light ranch, if you will)

half a bottle of buffalo sauce (I use Frank's RedHot Buffalo sauce. There is a "Hot Buffalo" flavor, but I use just normal buffalo)


Thats all.


Once you get all those ingredients, you can start cooking!


Instructions are kind of complicated, so try not to get confused.

Put all ingredients into your crockpot/slow cooker. (You can also just use a pot on the stove, but I think the crockpot does it best)

And then wait.

Leave it in the crockpot for about 30 minutes

Then stir it

If it isn't ready, let it sit some more

Just keep checking until it is ready

It is considered ready when everything is orange-ish color and mixed together


Professional tip from me: I always put in more ranch than I do buffalo sauce. It's not as "hot" and just taste a lot better to me. If you do this, the final color of the dip would be a lighter orange. If you use more buffalo sauce, its going to be more orange. It is kind of self explanatory.
